Thyroid ultrasound at DC Scans examines the thyroid gland and the neck: swelling, nodules and goitre assessment, characterisation of cysts and nodules, and monitoring or follow-up over time. Guidance for FNAC is available where it is needed.
Every scan is performed and reported by our Senior Consultant Radiologist (Female), who has 16+ years of experience. Ultrasound and colour Doppler are non-invasive, painless imaging techniques that do not use ionising radiation.
